Agreed, spooky. The writers and editors seem to act like they think Wolverine is the only reason X-Men is popular. But the main team books have ALWAYS sold more copies. I'm not a Wolverine hater but, DAMN I wish they'd give some proper credit to the non-wolverine-xmen.

It's not like I have anything against Wolverine, but I too am getting sick of his role. It's like no one can handle a situation without Logan becoming involved. I think Kurt, Warren, and Bobby could have taken that guy easily. And by the way, did Kurt seem kinda testy when he and Bobby went to see Chamber. Maybe it was just me, but he seemed awfully angry at something . . .

Ok, I saw this advertisement for Uncanny #398. Anybody seen it? It explains the Wolve vs. Mr.Clean thing, huh? (Kinda reminds me of a WWF showdown or something!...Which only makes me wish even harder that the rest of the team could get a chance to strut THEIR stuff!)

It's Wolverine vs. Mister Clean in the final chapter of "Poptopia!" It's the
ultimate showdown in the London sewers! It's the Canadian berserker vs. the
genetic cleanser! Yes, it's Logan going one-on-one with the flame-throwing fiend
-- and one of them won't walk away from this confrontation! Plus: Chamber learns
a harsh lesson!

Yes, I saw that marvelish ad for 398 as well, it literally made me sick (but I've been having a cold all week, so that may not say much). [SARCASM]Just think what should happen if Wolvie died; they all should perish, how in the heck can they survive without that 'Canadian berserker'?[/SARCASM]
An awful thought just hit me, what will we do if Kurt dies in Ultimate? Where can we get the read to satisfy our bamf addiction then?

That scene really didn't bother me other than Bobby needlessly kicking over a table. But Kurt was trying to warn Chamber he was merely a curiosity to people and it wasn't true acceptance. Once the fad wore off people would treat him as they use too.
